1. ORIGIN
Many music styles and traditions are disappearing due to climate change, migration, globalization, technology and other factors. With this loss, much of the associated culture could also be fading away.

The goal of "Beyond The Sound" is to create cinematic and engaging episodes showcasing these traditional ways of life and music so they can live forever.
2. HOOK
Each episode of Beyond The Sound explores a different country and its 2-3 prominent music styles, delving into the history, adaptations, and crafting of the instruments.
The series will feature in-depth interviews with locals and well-known musicians, capturing raw and authentic music in various settings to demonstrate how music permeates everyday life.
The host will engage with locals, learn about their music styles, and participate in creating music, providing a personal and immersive experience for viewers.
While music is the main focus, the show will highlight the surrounding elements such as food, religion, art, clothing, architecture, rituals, dance, and more.

Its universal connection through music enhances its marketability, positioning it for strong profitability across global audiences.

My work with Playing For Change adds significant production value to this project, as I have dedicated over a decade to traveling and recording music around the world—from small villages in Africa to the streets of South America, Asia, and Europe. I've experienced these rich places with the locals, not as a tourist, and my fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish has allowed me to communicate effectively in these diverse settings. Together with Rubin’s insights, we can create a captivating exploration of global musical traditions that resonates with viewers on multiple levels.
SEU JORGE
